OUR LAW FIRM
Bay Law Office was established in Blockhouse Bay in 1983 by Kerry Deane and Peter Jacobson. Our vision was to offer comprehensive and high-quality legal services to individuals and businesses at a local and cost effective level. Our law practice quickly became very busy, with loyal staff and clients.
In 2016 Craig Nelson, a partner in a city law firm, joined us. Craig brought with him his own unique commercial and forestry expertise and an interesting mix of local, national and international clients.
In 2018, owing to ill health, Kerry retired as a partner, but he remains as a consultant and mentor to our younger lawyers.
Thirty-five years later, we remain true to our original ideals. We remain a busy law firm offering comprehensive legal advice in most areas of the law, and a network of specialist contacts to call on when needed.
We are delighted that many of our staff and clients have been with us for many of our 35 years of practice.
